8 WEEK COURSE
A small workshop of 10 – 13 students will meet one evening per week for 8 weeks. Each class will be 2 1/2 hours. The total cost of the course is $1395. In order to reserve one of the limited places in the class, please email Alan a brief note telling him your name, the shows you like to watch, and your writing background if relevant. [email protected]. Once you hear back from him, you may then reserve a seat in the class by placing a 50 percent deposit through PayPal, Venmo or by personal check.

THE WRITERS ROOM
An 8-week advanced workshop with a maximum of 10 students. Modeled on a professional writers room, students actively participate in discussing each others’ scripts. Open to those who have taken previous workshops with Alan. Cost $1300.

SUMMER TV WRITING INTENSIVE

Sun, swim, WRITE!
This small immersive workshop will meet for 12 days and will include both group work and individual advisement.
In a clearly defined step-by- step process students learn how to create an ORIGINAL SERIES and write a pilot script.
After you design your series, you will learn how to brainstorm story ideas, structure an outline and write scenes with dialogue, all in a constructive, supportive workshop atmosphere. The class covers both comedies and dramas and is designed for both the beginning and experienced writer. Perfect for NY locals and out-of-towners looking for a script-cation.
It's a great chance to start a new pilot or advance the one you’re writing. As part of the Southampton Writers Conference there are dorms and good food available one mile from the ocean!
Plus there are Master Classes you can attend taught by amazing authors like Roger Rosenblatt, Marissa Silver and Matthew Klam.

CONSULTATIONS
All script consultations include scene by scene written notes and a 60 to 90 minute one-on-one meeting, in person or by Skype. Half-hour scripts - $1600. One hour scripts - $2500. Email for more details.
Refund Policy: Deposit is refundable for cancellations or withdrawals made more than three weeks prior to the start of class. Cancellations or withdrawals made less than three weeks prior to start of class will be refunded only if the spot can be filled. After the start of class, no refunds will be issued.
